i have used this hat on roller coasters and it has flown off my head a few times and have not "lost" it even tho i see lost hats below these rides.i make sure that it is attached well before getting on by pulling on it, 1 time as i was in line to get on roller coaster a 2nd time i pulled it and it came loose so be warned clip it well to your shirt and keep making sure it is secure before you need it to be.it is good to use in a water park as well (even tho they make you hold the hat on some rides) it drys fast.i think i will buy another one, i don't expect to ever lose this hat but you never know what will happen its possible one day i wont secure it well and it will fly away to make someone else happy. (plus i want dif colors)Love it. I'm an outdoor girl, and for a change, I can wear a hat that is breathable and washable. I wear a smaller hat and adjusting is easy, and the hat is still comfortable. And I like the clip on the back, since I kayak often. Don't have to be concerned that the hat will disappear in a breeze.Wore this for hiking in the Grand Canyon. Loved it and the extra pocket came in handy.
