I am loving these skates. I haven’t skated in years and would call myself a beginner although I skated a ton years ago at roller rinks and car hopping at Sonic. I have skated a few times on these out on the street and sidewalks and so far so good. They roll smooth on fairly rough asphalt. The suede is pretty stiff in a good supportive way. They’re comfortable enough for brand new skates. I wear a woman’s 8.5 or 9 and I bought these in the men’s 7 and got a perfect fit. My feet are medium width/slightly on the wide side. The wheels spin right out of the box but I think I may loosen the trucks. The purple is lovely. I was super worried about the sizing because I would have had to pay a return shipping fee but it worked out. These were more than I wanted to spend but after reading a ton of reviews and researching, the price wasn’t too bad and these particular wheels are expensive if you’re just buying wheels only so I think they are worth it. They arrived timely and in perfect brand new condition.
