I purchased a similar style waterproof Colombia Jacket, and rated it a star lower. This gets one star higher because it attempted to solve one of the biggest flaws of this product, yet in my opinion, did not address it all the way.First things First, I'd say this jacket is worth the low price point! Anyone whose ever bought Colombia at full retail price can attest that these discounted/outlet price points are totally worth it. The color was vibrant true to the advert, and I've received multiple compliments on the overall look, as well as how it fits me. I'm a bigger girl in both weight and height, so I opted for a Men's Jacket because I prefer the cut and length. This flattered me well, and so far has proven the Columbia brand name as being durable, yet functional. Now for the star subtracting flaw: THIS JACKET DOES NOT, I REPEAT, DOES NOT, VENTILATE! We're talking about straight, non-porous plastic like material tightly air wrapped against a body. So if you're like me, and you run hot, or you're planning to jog/hike in this, be prepared to sweat! In order to combat this issue, Columbia installed 2/3 inch zippered "flap vents" along the armpits of both sides. Again, I appreciate the willingness to accommodate, but the vents don't really tackle the root of the problem, and are not big enough to ventilate the back, shoulders, and most important arm area.I wore this to a outdoor concert where it rained and was quite comfortable, mostly because I wasn't moving and it was kind of chilly. The next weekend I wore this hiking a glacier trail and was dripping sweat down my back/arms, with arm pit flat vents at full force!Buy this jacket and let it be your new light weather rain coat for a outdoor concert, or a quick trip to the store...be weary if you're in humid temperatures or run hot though, because it may end up being a waste of money for you!Bought it for me because I love the color but the arms are super long. So my husband stole it. He loves it. Really keeps the rain out.It performed well in a rather heavy down pour in south Florida. It can still get warm but then again it’s hot down here.It has that plastic feel and sound to the material, but it is a raincoat. The vents are a nice addition.Solid product, nicely constructed and stylish. Has some insulating value but it's not going to warm you up too much if you are just wearing a tee shirt under it on a cold day, you'd need a few layers additional lawers for those cold days and night. Happy with purchase.Beautiful color! Great deal! Havent used in the rain yet but its light weight and I love this color! Great for cool mornings...Husband the Fisherman was soooo happy with this parka. It will get hot but the zippered underarm area provides some cool/ventilation. The light linng prevents some stickiness.Easy to fold small & tight to fit in backpack. You know hunters & fisherman need to pack light.Wish it came in bright colors for safety.I bought this jacket for my husband. He appreciates the underarm zippers for ventilation as his body temperature tends to run on the warm side. The jacket fits as expected and has a cut that is neither too modern or conservative.Fits well, comfortable, nice appearance, looks well made. Product recommended by Siverseas Cruises for Galapagos trip. They offer it at 30% more on their site, glad I checked on Amazon found it at a great price.Me gustó que es un impermeable amplio, nada estorboso se aprecia buena calidad de los materiales y no acalora como otrosOne of the best rain jackets you can get for the price. Perfect for drizzling Vancouver rainstorms and very breathable. There are arm vents on the side for warmer weathers. Will be using these to replace my old NorthFace.Increíble producto a un súper precioAl parecer ya lo avían abierto antes porque venía con un amarre la bolsa donde venía y toda arrugada la chamarraUna chamarra impermeable muy versátil para lluvia ligera y constante o para fuertes aguaceros.
