This hat is nice and light and very comfortable. My only hitch is that I wish the hole in the back for your ponytail was bigger. There is no way anyone with a decent amount of hair could put their ponytail through that hole. It was a primary reason I bought the hat. I wear a big hat size and the size large is truly large.I love wearing this on long hikes and backpacking trips.This fits true to size. It shades really well without too big of a brim that might interfere with eyesight. I did have to buy a chin strap to go with it, so it wouldn't keep blowing off in the wind. It packs down light and small without any damage which is a big plus. I really like it a lot! This color seems to go with almost anything!Hat runs large. I have a big head. The crown is so deep that it comes down over my eyes. Also the point tail opening is very small. I have thin hair and I still had to take out some stitching in order to use it.I paid way too much for this hat to be so disappointed with it. 50% UVB means it is so thin the sun can shine through the top of it. I can see light through it. The brim is ok and is the only thing I like about the hat. The brim is big and shades my eyes well. But in a wind the hat blows right off of my head even with my ponytail through the hole in the back. I have to hold the hat on or adjust it frequently. My ponytail is the only thing holding it above my eyes or otherwise it would cover my face. I ordered a Medium but it fits like an Extra Large. I really expected more from a name like Outdoor Research.Will doMy all time favorite travel hat! Fits well, light weight, chin strap, washable.I really like this hat but my one complaint is that the ponytail hole is really small. I cut the seams open to expand the hole and now have no problem fitting my thick hair through it.Fits well. Does it's job. But gets deformed easily and doesn't return to original form. BummerThis OR Women’s Solaris bucket hat is cute. It fits my big head perfectly, not too snug so my head still gets air. The ponytail slit is a bit difficult to get my ponytail through though but once I get it through, it’s great.
